TUESDAY'S LEVI* ..,±±jE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on yesterday's stock .sale as follows: —There was a small attendance of buyers. The number of entries which earned forward in the pig and cattle section was comparatively small, there being an average yarding of sheep. The market was much easier, there being a fall in the price of pigs/while there was little demand for both sheep and cattle. Following are the prices realised: —Pigs: Weaneis lis to 13s, slips 19s' 6d to 22;?, light porkers 365, I heavy porkers £3 to £3 7s 6d. , Sheep; Very littlff disposed of. Fat ewes* 22s 6d, fat wethers 28s, ewes and lambs 27s to 34s Id, fat hoggets,Sss. Cattle;-" Yearling Jersey heifers £2 to £3, for-/ ward cows £2 4s, store cows 80s to, T/s (3d, springing heifers £3 to £4\ss. I The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.,'Ltd., report: At Levin yards on Tuesday we offered a small entry of sheep and a medium yarding of cattle. The demand for*'cattle was dull and a total clearance was effected at the following prices:—Sheep: Woolly fat hoggets 25s to *29s fid, forward con dition hoggets 235. .-Cattle: Medium fafc*eoAvs £4 15s to £5 l»s, 'forward condition cows £2 5s to £3 -10 s, stores 25s to 355, yearling Jersey cross heifers £2 5s to £3.
