FOXTON RINKS VISIT LEVIN. Four Foxton rinks paid a friendly visit to Levin yesterday and some very enjoyable games were played. The visitors were entertained at tea by the ladies and expressed their keen appreciation of the hospitality shown them. The scores were as follows: Foxton.—Walton, Perreau, Walker, ( Woods (skip), 15 v. Levin— Edwards, Walker, Boekett, Percy (skip),. 16. 1 Foxton—Spring, Parkes, Christie, Thompson (skip) 14 y. Levin Clements, Gibson, von . Hartitzsch, Brown (skip), 27. Foxton —Parkins, NeSvth, Pearson, Bryant (skip) 17 v. Levin—Pink, Sherwood, Challies, Pyke (skip) 18. Foxton—Whibley, Ross, Mattar, Barr ’(skip) 12 v. Levin—Parker, Shennan, Lancaster, Derham (skip). 27. The first round of the series for the Triangular Shield will be played between Foxton, Shannon and Levin, at Shannon on Wednesday, November 24. Levin are the present holders. A Levin rink, skipped by Brown, will play Shannon on Saturday, for the Kinieburgh Feathers, which Shannon Avon last season.
