MANAWATU TENNIS ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of tennis club delegates was held at Palmerston this week. The following clubs were represented: Polmeistou North, Northern, West Erl, Feilding, Terrace End, Foxtoit, Long-, burn, Levin (L. H. Arcus), Bulls. Mr 11. N. Watson explained that the object of tlie meeting was to form a a Association. It was decided that the Association be called the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association, and that if affiliated with the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association. Rrjles were adopted along the lines of those of other associations. The number of the management committee, which is the executive body z the association, was fixed at seven •‘members', 'in addition to the secretary and treasurer, four of the seven to represent clubs within a radius of five miles of Palmerston Nortffi and. three to represent clubs outside that area. „ Election of Officers.
