YESTERDAY'S QUOTATIONS. Tuesday's stock sale in Levin was notable for a large yarding of stock, especially cattle. The attendance of buyers was good and sales were affected at ruling rates. Local firms report as follows: Abraham & Williams, Ltd. Pigs.—There was a large yarding of pigs, all classes being well represented. Weanors £1 to 265, stores 26s to 335, porkers £2 5s to £2 17s 6d and £3 2s. Sheep.—There was an average yarding, the hoggets being a good lot. Fat ewes 25s 6d, shorn wethers and maiden ewes 21s sd, good woolly hoggets 265. Cattle.—A big yarding came forward. Three year store steers £5 10s, fat cows (medium) £5 5s to £7 17s od, prime fat cows £8 10s to £9 ss, light fat heifers £3 12s Gd, forward cows £3 to £3, 12s fid, store coavs 3.0 m to £2 ss. N.Z. Loan & Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. We offered to a good attendance of buyers a large yarding of, both sheep smd cattle. Competition was keen.
