Dr. W. J. Macdonald, formerly in practice l in Levin and Shannon, has just returned to New Zealand after two years of special study in Edinburgh, and London of diseases of the ear, nose find throat. His local friends will be interested to know that while in Britain Dr. Macdonald was elected a Fellow of tbe Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and received the Diploma of Laryngology and Otology of London. He is at present staying with his sister Dr. Elizabeth Bryson in Wellington, and he intends to commence practice there as a specialist.
