MAORILAND THEATRE.

TERRIFIC CRASH INI MID-AIR. AIRSHIP DESCENDS IN. FLAMES, Some very wonderful effects have been achieved lately by means of a new process of colour photography, which floes away with the rather hardish and crude colours obtained by the ordinary process. A line example of this is seen in “We Moderns,” the -very entertaining film which will be shown at the Maoriland Theatre on -Wednesday. The climax of the story, which takes place in England, comes when an aeroplane containing a wild party of youths and girls comes into wiolent collision with a raiding Zeppelin, which ‘.bursts into flame and crashes to the ground. ■ The ' whole episode is done in natural colour thus making the incident unusually realistic. Many of the biggest scenes were taken actually in London against backgrounds which , are bywords the world over, as, for instance, Piccadilly Circus, The Strand, Trafalgar Square and many other equally famous places. AN OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION. Friday’s feature at the Maoriland Theatre will be the First National twelve-reel super film masterpiece, featuring Sir John Martin Harvey in “The Only Way,” the British-pro-duced motion-picture that has caused such an impression in England, giving confidence in British production to such an extent that tli-e- Press there declare England need not fear American film supermacy if she can 'produce such features as “Hie Only Way.” The box plan iS now on view and seats may be reserved.
