GOLF NOTES.
* CLOSING OF SEASON. To-morTOw the golf eaeon for the local club will be officially - closed. To make the day’s sport as' attractive as possible a match will he played between teams picked by J. W. 'Mur* ray and jB. Spencer; after 'which putting, driving and approaching competitions will be held. Trophies have been donated for the winners, and given a fine day a large number of players will no doubt take part, and make the outing an enjoyable one. Play will commence at 1.30. and members arriving later will pair off, placing themselves in respective teams and playing the round in the same wav as other members.
