LEVIN SALEYARDS.

Tuesday’s sale at Levin showed an improved yarding of sheep, all classes being represented, but cattle were in very short supply. There was a large yarding of pigs, but quality was not equal to -that of tlie past two weeks. The prices received are shown below:— Sheep.—Extra prime heavy weight wethers £2 4s, fat ewes 22s to 265, fat hoggets 18a, good store hoggets 16s to 17s 3d, small hoggets 9s 6d. ■ Cattle— Store cows £1 to 355, springing cows £5 to £6 2s 6d, forward heifers £2 ss, yearling heifers 21s. Pigs—Good porkers £2 10s to £2 15s, light porkers £2 to £2 ss, “stores £1 to 255, weanere 8s to 10s.
