ACCOUNTANT SENTENCED.
PROBATION IMPOSSIBLE. CHRISTCHURCH, August 10. Cyril Tonrnan Mosley, public accountant, was sentenced to two years’ reformative treatment on eight charges of theft, Judge Adams saying that prisoner realising fully the trust imposed in him and the comiparative helplessness of his employers stole upwards of £llOO. To admit him to probation would bring tire probationary system to absurdity. ~
