STQHE PIGS EASIER. There was a better muster'of buyers yesterday at the Levin saleyards, and the yarding of pigs was larger. Prices for store pigs were a trifle easier than recent rulings; store cattle showed practically no variation to last week’s prices, whilst sheep were similarly placed. Among the selling rates, the following were noted:— Cattle.—Store cows 25s to £2 2s 6d, fat cows £6 Is to £7 Ate, fat heifers £6 6s to £7, 18-months steers (good) £4, Shorthorn bull £5, springing cows £3’ 17s 6d to £5, dairy cow® £3 10s to £6 15s. Pigs.—Small store pigs £1 Is to 27s 6d, forward condition ditto £3 Bs, weaner pig’s 14s to 21s 6d, light porkers £2 3s to £2 10s, medium porkers to £2 15s, heavy ditto £3 19s, sow in pig £4 10s, light baconers £3 14s. Sheep.—Fat ewes 26© 7d, hoggets 17s.
