APPRECIATION.
(To the Editor). Sir, —The residents of Stansell Si. were very pleased at having a light placed in their street, last week. 'Hiis now serves eight families, who up till now have been in total darkness. We have, a dangerous corner in thi.-' street and it is a wander to many that no serious accidents have occurred there. However, the Council have done then duty and we greatly appreciate their action in filling a long felt want. I am, etc., A. BIRCHALL.
