ROLL OPEN FOR INSPECTION

la connection with the loan proposals of £7OO and £IO,OOO in respect to municipal offices, a notice is inserted in this .issue that, the rate’payersroll is now open for inspection at the Borough Council offices. The poll is to be'taken on 19th July, 1926. The roll closes on Monday, the Mb July, 1926, and those having the necessary qualifications to vote should make a point of inspecting the roll to make sure they are entitled to vote.

Only ratepayers are qualified to vote on loans, but in the case of busband and wife, any qualification possessed by either of them shall be deemed to .be possessed by each of them. Therefor both husband and wife arc entitled to vote providing their names are on the roll accordingly, and it is their duty to ascertain' that they are properly -enrolled.
