PROPOSED .SPECIAL LOAN OF £7OO. NOTICE is hereby givm that the Shannon Borough Council, for the purpose of enabling the said Council to undertake and carry cut alterations, extensions, additions and renovations to the Municipal Buildings and to erect a Ladies’ Rest Room, propose to raise a special loan of £7OO ait a rate of interest not exceeding six per cent, per annum, and a sinking fund of one per centum. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for the repayment of Interest charges thereon to appropriate and pledge as security, a special rate not exceeding l-10th "of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Shannon, comprising the whole of the said Borough on the basis of the capital value, such rate to be an annually recurring rate during currency of the loan and to be made and levied by resolution of the. Council to be passed after the said special loan has been agreed to by the ratepayers. The whole of the loan as to be repaid at the expiry of ten years from the date of raising the same. It. is proposed to pay out of the Loan money the cost of raising the loan and the' interest and sinking fund for the first year during the construction of the work.
