AUCKLAND, June 10. Unemployment in Auckland is likely to ibe greatly relieved in consequence of the successM outcome of negotiations between "the Mayor and . the Prime Minister. The Government has agreed to ftnd £117,000, as its share of the cost of cdnstructing the proposed Waterfi'cwit roadway to Oirakei and lias authorised the City Gouncil to' raise £IOO,OOO for providi Ing relief wdtks lor unemployed .without taking a'poll of ratepayers.
