A cup lias been presented to and accepted by the Manawatu-Horo-whenua combined Rugby Unions for competition between junior grade teams in each of the districts oonsti-, tuting the combined Council. It i? recognised that stimulated interest in junior Rugby Will reflect itself in future senior play and the presentation of this cup is an example that might well be followed by other football supporters.
