In common with all other insurance policies," the Dairy Produce Control Board's policy contains a clause providing for cancellation of the marine insurance clause covering the produce against wars, riots or strikes, by the underwriters giving ten days' notice. The Underwriters gave notice of cancellation on sth Mav. This means that all produce which had left the factory on or before 15th May is covered against strikes, etc., at the ordinary premium now in operation. But produce leaving the factory after 15th May will be covered against strikes at a premium to ,be fixed from day to day, or week to week', as may be arranged.
