A PREMEDITATED BANKRUPT. AUCKLAND, May 10. In the Supreme Court GennaroNigro was found guilty of three breaches of the Bankruptcy Act. Mr Justice Stringer said . the evidence showed beyond doubt that, accused made a premeditated attempt to swindle his creditors of a very large sum of money and that had been supported by perjury and conspiracy. “I have a duty to the mercantile community and must pass an exemplary sentence. You will be sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour-for 12 months."’'
