YESTERDAY S SALES AT ADDINGTON. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Entries 'for the Addington market to-day were generally smaller, and there was a tendency to easier values in all sheep suctions. Good fat cattle sold at improved rates. Store Sheep.-—A reduced entry was comprised mostly oi North Island ewes with iocal and Marlborough wethers. Dairy Cattle. —Good, fresh cows sold briskly, inferior sorts being neglected: Rest springers sold at £lO to £l4 10s; others, at £4 10s to £9; best heifers, £0 10s to- £8 ,10s;\ others, -£4 to £6 10s. ' , Fat Pigs.—There was a good sale. Choppers made £3 ,10s to £6 10s; baconers, £3 17s 6‘d to £6 ss. The average price per lb. was Sd to SJd. Porkers, 47s to, 72s (average price per lb., 8d to-9(1). Store Pigs.—A small entry and no change in values. Weanors brought 9s to 14s; best, to l’Ss; slips, 23s to 295: stores. 33s to 435.

.JOHNSON VTLLE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams and Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd,, report on their Jolinsonville Sale yesterday. The yarding throughout showed good quality, both sheep and cattle yardings being considerably better than the previous week. A good attendance of butchers were present and bidding throughout was keen, every pen selling under the hammer at prices is advance of previous quotations. We quote:—Ox, fit 12/6, £ll 17/6, £l2 17/6,’ £l3 5/-, £l3 12/6, £l3 15/-, £l4 2/6, £l4 12/6, to £l4 £>/-; wethers, 26/3. 27/3, 28/-, 28/3, to 30/-; ewes' 20/-, 22/6, 23/-, to 35/-; black faced lambs, 26/- to 28/-; white faced iambs, 23/4, 25/0, 25/9, 26/5 to 27/6.
