ALL NIGHT ON A REEF.

LYTTELTON BOYS’ ADVENTURE. CHRISTCHURCH, May 3. Soaked to the skin and shivering after a wet night in a, dinghy under the cliffs of Quail Island, two hoys of ten and twelve years landed near Lyttelton dock on Saturday morning. They had gone out in an Bft dinghy the previous afternoon and been buffeted on to a reef and then on to Quail Island, the cliffs of which were too steep to climb. They slept and .shivAed in the open - boat all night, having only one overcoat to shelter them from the heavy rain that fell at intervals. The tide turned in the morning so they were able to reach port.
