GOLF NOTES.
The Foxton Golf Club lias 'forwarded to the Shannon Club an invitation for members to be present at their opening next Saturday (to-morrow). All players wishing ito travel to Foxton are requested to communicate with the Hon. Secretary in order that conveyance may be arranged. The Shannon Ciub "hopes to be able to commence golf on the Saturday following April -i'-i-th.
