A FATAL ACCIDENT. AUGKLAND, April 8. A charge of negligently driving a motor car in Remuera Road on the evening of April. 1, thereby causing the death of Robert Thos. Dagg, 1 was preferred against Andrew Donald in the Police Court. Accused was also charged with driving at an excessive speed. Henry S. N. Robinson, who witnessed the accident, estimated the speed of Dagg's car at not less 'than 35 miles an hour. John S. Wells estimated the speed at thirty miles an hour. Accused's car, which was- just in front of witness, seemed to swerve toward the 'tramlines. He saw it hit decease'*',,,, who was ' then on (the edge of tfiW tramline. The right hand side of the car struck deceased. Witness could not say if the car werut over the body which was thrown 12 or 15 yards.
