STUDENT AMBASSADORS.
BRITISH UNIVERSITY PARTY. AUCKLAND, March 29.* The British. University team, which was organised by the National Union of Students of England, Scotland and v Wales, sailed from England on January 2 for Canada. They visited most of the large towns of Canada and all the principal (universities and were engaged in debates on about twenty occasions, being adjudged winners of all but tbiree v Asked if tliey hoped their visit to ■ the Dominions would be returned, Mr Reed said that so far as New Zealand was concerned it was a question of British students making up leeway. Rhodes scholars had long been the ambassadors of New Zealand and they were well liked and popular among English students. The delegation will leave for Sydney on April 23rd. After touring Australia they will return to England. Mr Reed is a journalist, Mr May a scientist, and Messrs Molson and Mc- . Donald are pursuing law.
