PRISONERS SENTENCED.
AUCKLAND, March 3y. . In the Supreme Court, the following prisoners were sentenced: Robert Stephenson Wake, indecent assault on a girl at Kawakawa, two years' hard labour, John Roderick Skipper, false pretences at Gisborne, probation for two years; William Bergerson, carnal knowledge at Taumarunui, to come up for sentence if called upon. The Judge stated the girl was partly responsible. The couple had'since been married.
