♦ . ~ On Wednesday afternoon a visit was paid the local Cluib toy three rinks from Levin. After the .heavy rain of the previous night, the green was heavy, tout nevertheless, an enjoyable afternoon was spent toy "the visitors. On the afternoon's play the' home team won with an aggregate of 64 points to 49. During the afternoon the ladies of the Croquet Cluib provided refreshments which were much appreciated.
