TEN MOTOR CARS BURNT.
HOKITIKA GARAGE DESTROYED. HOKITIKA, March 22. A fire early on Sunday morningdestroyed Baty's Garage in Weld St., together with ten motor cars, mainly •private ones, including one belonging to D,r. Begg, of Wellington.; Damage by fire and smoke was caused to the adjoining premises of J. L. Turner, fruiterer, and Mrs T. Robinson, draper. The insurances include:—Turner, stock and fittings, £SOO. The insurances on private cars total £I6OO. The* premises were, owned by William Robinson and the insurances are £750. Baty's stock and fittings were a complete loss. The insurances are not available.
