“KINGS OF THE TURF.”
AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A HORSE. The Maoriland Theatre has an exceptional picture.' on its screen on Friday. It is called “Kings of the Turf,” and, as the title indicates, it has to do with life down in the Blue Grass country, where abounds thoroughbreds, both equine and human. Perhaps the most unusual phase of ithe story unfolded in this picture is its autobiographical aspect—a horse tells it in its own way, almost in its own words. Another innovation is, William Fox, the producer, has gone to the trouble and expense to press into service as photoplayers such celebrities of the turf as Mun-o’-War, Morvich, Negofol, Fair Play and' The Finn. For those who- seldom or never partiepate in the stirring events of the race-track world, it will prove a real treat to see this grand and costly array of proud horse-flesh in action before motion picture cameras. Especially diverting will it be -for all since there is perfect continuity in a really interesting drama into which has (been blended romance, comedy and tragedy.
