WELLINGTON WOOL SALES.
GOOD PRICES REALISED. I WELLINGTON, March 1. The New Zealand Loan and Mer- \ oantile Agency Go., Ltd., Wellington, report that the fourth sale of the season commenced on Saturday and concluded to-day. We offered 2250 bales and disposed of over 95 per cent, at auction. Buyers were in full attendance and competition keen and animated throughout. Sale values are a shade dearer than the level of prices established at recent sales. Superior style wools ruled from par to Id easier. America was not operating to the same extent as last sales. Average and inferior wools sold from par to h& dearer. Pieces and oddments par to £d dearer. Larnibs good*, quality and style well up to late rates . but short and inferior slSighMy easier. The selection was not so good as previous catalogues, many clips being of medium condition and showing tenderness int. staipHe. Seed was in evidence in many cases. Very Keen coriYoetition was experienced for binned wools and. ibec fold at full market rates. ' '-..'..
