The subject comes up wiien a temptress tells Carol Hilton ot the fun to be had in parties, with ccclt tails, theatres and general excitement. Carol gets out of the lines and learns i bitter lesson. She is abandoned by her husbaind who thinks her bad and who is enraged'a,t the wlay she has left her two children. Mother love forces her to enter the home and kidnap her children which forms one of the thrilling climaxes of this Master Picture. Monte Blue and Beverly Bayne head the brilliant cast, which includes Willard Louis, Margaret Livingstone and John Roche.

“THE WANDERER OIF THE WASTELAND.” ZANE GREY IN NATURAL' COLOURS Hie outstaditog features of Pann mount’s “Wanderer of the Wasteland,” which wil be screened at the Maoriland Theatre on Friday night, are the all-colour photography and the. flawless acting of a superb cast. This Zane Grey story has lost, none of its vitality by its transfer to the screen. As a matter of fact, under the capable direction of Irvin Wiilliat, the picture brings out wiith effective vividness all the dramatic strength of.the story. Of course, the fact that it w|as made entirely iii colomvthere is not a black and white sequence in the entire feature—on the actual locations described in the book adds to the .realism and pictorial beauty. All the featured role,s are in the able hands of excellent players. Jack Holt’s characterisation of the title part i.s a notable one. Billie Dove fits perfectly into the picture; Noah Beery does a splendid bit of character acting and Kathiyn Williams, as usual, does very good work.
