BIG YARDING ALL ROUND. The offerings at-the Levin saleyards Tuesday, showed an appreciable increase, in all sections, particularly in pigs, where every pen in the pig pa-.' vulion was taken up. Pork and bacon sold well, stores maintaining recent rates Sheep came forward well and there was a good enquiry at prices on. a par with recent quotations. There was no change in prices realised for cattle, although practically everything submitted for sale was cleared. Woolly Romsney lambs made from 12s to 18s apiece. . Sheep.—Fat sheep (chiefly eWes) 20s Bd, 2400th wethers (small) 18s 6d, ditto ewes 19s 4d, store ewes ,6s 4d to 10s 9d, b.f. rape lambs 17s, store lambs 10s 2d cull lambs 6s 8d to 9s 3d. Cattle.—2& year-old steers £5, veal--ers 36s to £3 10s, light fat cows £3 17s to £A ss, fat heifers £3 15s, forward cows £2 10s to £3 ss, stores 25s to 30s, 18-months P.A. steers £3 lte, bulls, according to quality, £2 2s 6d to £4 17s 6d - x Pigs.—Weaners 13s sd, stores £1 to *ss light porkers £2 to £2 7s, light baooners £2 17s to £2495, good baconers £3 4s.
