GOOD PRICES FOR VEALERS. A good line of vealers at the saleyards on Tuesday made £2 10s. Beefof which there were a-fair number of offerings, brought market rates and were in good demand. Fat cows showed an improvement in price, compared with last week's yarding. Pig prices were even wifjh ruling Soeep.—Shorn 1 lam'bs 9s 4d, small woolly lambs Bs, 3d, cull ljimtos 4s 7d, sound mouth ewes 10s. Cattle.—Good fat cows £6 Is, fat oows £3 17 s 6d to £5 ss; vealers £2 10s; forward cows £S 14s to £3 2s 6d, stores £1 to 325, 4-year-old bullocks £8 Is, bulls £4 7s 6d to £5 ss. Pigs.—Stores 26s to 325, light porkers £2 to £2 7s 6d, light ixaconers £3 14s, good baconers £4 7s.
