YOUR FACE AS A FORECAST
*- —■ — - According to the latest pronouncement Of Dr. George Draper, a prominent American scientist, features and build give sure indications of the diseases to which different people are subject. Great things are expected from this new theory, which may revolutionise the whole method of diag - - nosis and treatment.
Fair people, it appears, are more immune from disease of all kinds than dark people. A fat, round face indicates that its oAvner is subject to gall troubles,, while people with short broad faces and eyes far apart are very often x auaemic. Men who are tall are in the majority among sufferers fom tuberculosis, and those who are very short are subject to kidney troubles. The colour of the eyes is an impor. tant facter, for broWn-eyed people are more liable to all diseases except anaemia and tuberculosis than any others. The length of the ears also has an important bearing on health, according to this theory. Dr. Draper is careful \to explain that it does not follow that anyone who has certain physical and mental attributes is certain to contract the diseases general to his particular group, but he does suggest that everyone should guard against these diseases.
