" ■ Thanks to tlie generous response by business 'men and others, very handsome prizes will toe available for the numerous, events, arranged by the committees. A. refreshment stall will be in charge of Mr Quari'ie, and here those who do not wish to bring along a basket, may purchase tea, coffee or soft drinks, together w!ilh delicious fresh sandwiches, cakes and fruit, not forgetting lollies and ice cream for the youmger generation. The cycle race starts at 3 p.m., post entries 2 p.m. The route will be to Mangaore and back via Stout and Glapham streets. *
