At a card party, the character played by Lyon finds a second ace of spades in a pack; also that, it had •been inserted into the deck by an intriguing woman. The "card trick" was performed by Miss Nillson, who, as Lady Sylvia Huttan, an English Niablewoanan, uses this means to. discredit a young American whoj had spurned her advances.
