In one instance a car driven by a girl had crashed into and carded a /'2-year-old steer 30 yards before she could pull up. In another case he saw' a car stop on top of a sheep. Neither of these mishaps would have occurred if the drivers had toeen competent. • The Engineer asked for particulars of the accidents witnessed by Gr. N Barber, in order to itajke the necessary steps to put down this sort of thing.
