ASSETS TIVAiNiSEERWiaD'.TO COIIN- - ? GIL. A meeting of thie Shannon Domain executive was held on Monday evening, there ibeing present: The Mayor (Mr \V. Murdoch) and Messrs Butt, Hook, Richardson and Bovis. The .audited balance sheet was read and adopted. The amount of £lO7 3s 7d was reported in the bank. It was also reported that the Domain had been ploughed and sown -with suitable lawn grass, the work costing £SO 16s 4d. A horse-lawn imower had been ; purchased for £25. The paddling pool for children had also been completed and would ibe ready for use on New Year's Daly. The new grass was coming away satisfactorily. The Mayor referred tot the lack of interest shown 'by the executive members in attending ifße meetings. The last two had to be postponed on account of their.being no quorum. He . suggested that the money in hand and assets should ibe handed over to the Borough Council to be earmarked for •Domain improvements. He then gave notice of motion {hat the Shannon Domain executive ibe wound up, and that all the assets of the executive: be transferred to the Shannon Borough Council. , At a special nieeiting last evening the Mayor's notice of motion that the assets be transferred to the Borough Council was carried.
