NOTICE is hereby given that the Council proposes for the pur r pose of alterations and additions to the present Municipal Buildings, Plimmer Terrace, Shannon, to raise a special loan of £7OO at a rate of interest not exceeding six per cent; . per annum, with a sinking fund not exceeding two per cent. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and i for the payment of interest charges thereon to appropriate and pledge as security, a special rate of one-four-teenth of a Id in the £ on the rate-, able value of all the rateable proper- , ty in the Borough of Shannon, such j rate to be an annually recurring rate j during the currency of the loan and ! to be made and levied by resolution of the Council to be passed after the said special loan has been agreed to 1 by the ratepayers. The whole of the, loan is to be repaid at the expiry of 20 years from the date of raising the same.
