“This is the result of the tractor and motor car,” said an interested spectator at a recent Ashburton hor.sc parade, commenting oil the entries, “in the old days there would be 40 or 50 entries, and good ones at that. In fact, it was a horse show on its own, but now 15 entries is good. I -bet you will find more farmers at a tractor demonstration than there are here to-day.”
