SHANNON BOROUGH COUNCIL. LOAN FOR MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS. NOTICE is hereby given that the Council proposes for the purpose of alterations and additions to the present Municipal Buildings, PI burner Terrace, Shannon, to raise a special loan of £7OO at a rate of interest not exceeding six per cent, per annum, with a sinking fund not exceeding two per cent. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for the payment of interest charges thereon to appropriate and pledge as security, a special rate .of one-four-teenth of a Id in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Shannon, such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and to he made and levied by resolution of the Council to be passed after the said special loan has been agreed to by the ratepayers. The whole of the loan is to be repaid at the expiry of 20 years from the date of raising the same. It is proposed to pay the cost ol raising the loan and the first year’s interest out of the loan money. Dated at Shannon this Bth day of October, 1925. J. T. BOVIS, Town Clerk.
