Since our last week’s report there have been no, further arrivals of New Zealand Dairy produce in Great Britain. FROZEN MEAT. * : Lamb.—New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy, IOJd, light 12gd, North Island heavy I0:(d, light 12£d. , Mutton.—New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury heavy 8-J-d, ligh North Island heavy Sd, light Slid. Prices for lamb and mutton are nominal. Beef.—New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds 6d, fores sd. Good demand for New Zealand .beef—market is firmer. Pork—Market is very'firm. New Zealand “heads on” realised Old to 9fd oil spot. LONDON WOOL SALES. Wool sales closed at highest point of series. Strong competition. Continental were the principal operators. English buyers were buying more freely. As compared with last sale’s closing rates. Greasy merino wools, suitable for the continent, par to Id higher, greasy merino wools of other descriptions, part to id lower; greasy comeback wools, Id to ljd lower; greasy halfbreds, Id to Dd lower; greasy merino pieces and bellies, Id to 2d higher; greasy fine crossbreds, Id higher; greasy medium and coarse crossbreds, Id to 1 ljd higher; greasy crossbred pieces and bellies, Id to ljd higher; scoured merino wools, unchanged; scoured halfbreds, unchanged to rather easier; scoured crossbreds, unchanged to rather dearer; halfbred stipe lambs, unchanged; other slipe. wools, par to id higher; merino Limbs, unchanged; crossbred lambs, par to Id higher. 213,000 Bales ol wool offered, including 82,000 New Zealand, 29,000 South American, 154,000 colonial, 110,000 bales sold to the Continent, 64,000 to Home trade, 7000 to America; 64,000 carried forward, of which 53,000 were not offered.
