(in conjunction), report on Johnsonville sale held yesterday as follows: — An average yarding of sheep came ' forward comprising several pens or heavy prime quality ewes. Competition was keen and prices showed an advance on late rates. A good yarding of extra prime quality cattle panic forward. Taking into account the quality of the cattle prices were not up to’ late' rates. The quality of the vealers yarded was better than late yardings’ and a firm sale resulted.
