SHANNON BOROUGH COUNCIL. LOAN FOR MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS. NOTICE is hereby given that the • Council proposes lor the purpose' of alterations arid additions to the ..present Municipal Buildings, Plimmer Terrace, Shannon, to raise a special loan-of £7OO at a rate .01 interest not exceding six per cent, per annum, with a sinking fund not exceeding one per cent. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for the payment of interest charges thereon to appropriate and pledge as security, a special rate of one-four-teeiith of a Id in the £ on the rateable value of all the .rateable .property in the Borough of Shannon, such rate to be an annually (recurring rate during the currency of the loan and to be made and levied by. resolution of the Council to be passed after the said special loan has been agreed to bv the ratepayers.
