FAT SHEEP ENTIRELY NEGLECTED

Tuesday's sale quotations w.ere a sign of the times, more especially in the sheep section, which was very dull throughout, hoggets realising prices ranging from 24s 3d to 30s. Store pigs and porkers realised a little short of recent rates. Forward cows brought prices on a par with last week's mark. The few lines of cull heifers were very (poor calibre animals, and bidding in this direction was, naturally, somewhat slack. Gows.—Stores 30s to £2 15s, forward condition £3 2s 6d to £4 10s, light fat £5 8s heavy ditto £7 6s, dairy £4 15s, Jersey weaher heifers £3, cull cows with calf £2 10s. . Pigs.—'Weaners 17s to ,265, , light porkers £2 to £2 17s, heavy ditto £2 18s to £3 Bs, small stores SBs 6<l to 24s 6d large ditto 27s 6d to 31s.
