SHANNON CHORAL SOCIETY.
A final reminder of the above '.Society’s concert to be held in the Maori land Picture Theatre on Thursday next at 8 o’clock is given. An amended programme is in to-day's issue and a perusal of same will convince the public that the concert will be an exceptionally good one. Among the artists perHoirming are Mrs L. McDonald, of Palmerston North, Mrs S. Barber, of Moutoa, Miss Thelma Shaw, Miss Pickles, and Miss Jean Better, of Levin, Mr Amos MeKegg, of Palmerston, and an importation m Hebrews from Palestine. The Society will render six items of a varied kind and music-lovers will have their tastes well catered tor. A crowded house is expected and ticket holders will have the peiTerenen of .seats till 7.45. Patrons are advised to secure tickets which may be obtained from the secretary, Mr Moody, or any of the members and a limited number will be on sale at the door. Doubtless the public will support this deserving society well as recommended by Ins Worship, the Mayor.
