TOM MIX AS DICK TURPIN
Tom Mix lias side-tracked his chaps J and sombrero and donned the silks, satins and laoes of the early-day bandit of Old England for -one picI ture at least. This picture, which marks such a decided departure from his usiuial screen habits, is none other than an elaborate picturisation of "Dick Turpin," clue in Shannon on Saturday. Turpin holds the record as England's boldest bandit of ail time, and, his one saving grace was that he robbed the rich to feed the foor. Tom Mix has been working for many months transferring the stirring deeds of this colourful, rascal to the films and as Dick he has been fitted with the greatest role of his career. He has trained a magnificent coal black mare to portray the role of Black Bess, Turpin's famous mount. "THE SUNSET TRAIL." On Monday a gorgeous story of romance and adventure entitled, "Ine Sunset Trail," will be shown in Shannon, supported by a strong and , varied programme including topical news, a comedy and serial. The programme will be screened on Saturday at Tokomaru.
