N.S.W. VICTORIOUS 20-8
Blues Superior In Every Department “COMBINEDS” SAIL TO COMBINE. New South. Wales met and defeated Wellington-Horowhenua-Manawatu at Palmerston North on Saturday by 20 points to 8. The Welshmen got a hearty reception on reaching the stand and as they filed out, led by Thorn, the applause was continued; at the conclusion of a realistic war-cry; it burst out again. So the blues were made quite at home by the 6000 spectators before the ball was set rolling.
