BUSH DEFEATED 16-13. PAHIATUA, Last Night. Waikato defeated Bush by sixteen points to thirteen on a heavy ground, after an open and willing encounter. Tries were scored for Waikato by Clemett, I. Johnson, Thompson and Charlston and Mitchell converted two tries. For Bush ! the scorers were J. Galvin, Burling and Tyree and P. Galvin converted one and Udy one. Waikato owed the victory to the ability of the backs to seize opportunities but the packs were particularly even. ;
