MOSQUITO FLEET.
MIDGET PLANES IN COMPETITION. (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, August 2. Twenty-five tiny aeroplanes competed at the Royal Aero Club’s meeting at Lympne. In the light aeroplane handicap over four circuits of a 21mile course in heavy rain, twelve planes were compelled to descend. Flight Lieutenant Chick was first. Wing Commander Douglas second and Lieut. Hinckler third.
