Demand fox New Zealand mutton runs principally on light weights, good demand for heavy mutton owing to scarcity but medium more or less neglected, market weak, transactions small. Lamb. —New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy 9|d, light 12d, North Island heavy 9Jd, light ll|}d. Demand for New Zealand lamb runs principally on light weights market quiet. Beef.—New Zealand prime ox bee! hinds s.£d to sid, fores 3d to 3£d, fair demand for New Zealand beef, prices nominal. DAIRY PRODUCE. . ; Butter.—Market continues dull. We quote New Zealand salted 187 s (188s),' Danish 194 s (200 s), finest Australian salted 182 s (182 s), unsalted 188 s (188 s). Cheese. —Market, quiet.
