FOOTBALL.
The annual football match ibetween Plimmer Terrace and Ballance Street for the gold cup will take place on the Recreation. Grounds on Wednesday afternoon. This game, in the past, has always created a lot of interest and as there is great, rivalry' between the two streets, combined with tlie fact that both teams claim to-have some "dark horses," a keen contest is anticipated. The following are the teams to do battle for the respective streets:— Plimmer Terrace.—C. Hardie, L. Martin, \\\ Aitcheson (capt.), E. Moody, Chpnian, Pritchard, F. Murray, C. O''Regan, T. King, J. T. Bovis, W. Quarrie, H. Hook, G. Nahkies, L. Mefwooo and P. Cole. Ballance Street—H. Murdoch, M. Tippler, Mackereth, 3. Ulsen, J. Hennessev, M. Cumin, F. King, W. Moynihan, C. Turner, C. Young, Penticost, Ricketts, G. Coyle, G. Rauhihi, S. Small Ryan, B. Merwood.
