A recognition of the sharpness of the morning was sit own at Saturday morning's meeting of the Horowhenua County Council when the staff of the Countv office provided morning tea -for the councillors and Press. Appreciation -of; the thoughtfulness of the act was voiced by several coiuncillors. In one instance a question was asked as to whether a precedent might not be found and the Council drift from good to better so ttiat eventually a demijohn would be provided. The chairman suggested amidst the laughter, .that the speaker might provide the demijohn, when the precedent would look after itself.
